Crossroads Entertainment & Marketing, Inc.
was created in the fall of 1993 by partnering two tremendously successful independent labels. Those labels, both born in 1986, were Horizon Records and Sonlite Records. The effort was conceived to take the two independent labels and create a larger entity in order to serve the market place more effectively.
The early days of Crossroads housed such artists as The Kingsmen, The Kingdom Heirs, The McKamey’s, The Hoppers, Teddy Huffam & The Gems, Karen Peck & New River, Phil Cross & Poet Voices and The Isaacs, just to name a few. Since then, Crossroads has been the home for many of the leading artists in the world of gospel and bluegrass music, in either label affiliation, or serving as a distribution and marketing arm.
Amazingly, Crossroads Entertainment & Marketing, Inc is still owned and managed by several of the same partners from its inception. They include Chris White, Mickey Gamble, Jeff and Vickie Collins. Southern gospel icon, and the company’s first President, Eldridge Fox once said, “Crossroads will have a huge impact on the industry for many years to come”. Thankfully, he was right!
Today, the list of artists that Crossroads represents on their four labels is comprised of some of the most prominent who’s who in the industry. Crossroads represents some of the industry’s leading independent artists, handles distribution for Pinecastle Records, and handles distribution and radio promotion for Vine Records. Crossroads also owns and distributes the Singing News Soundtrack series, which is offered in retail stores across America, as well as on this website in your choice of physical CD copy or downloads.
The company offers many services, including retail distribution, direct to consumer distribution, digital distribution, radio promotion, studio recording and production, publishing, and consulting.
We hope you’ll visit our Crossroads community often!
